When customers choose me as their demonstrator, I never take that for granted. Every order placed means a little gift from me. Either a product sample or a hand-stamped item.
September orders receive this lovely chocolate treat.
Credit to Mary Fish for the measurements.
Here’s how to create your own:
Using the Stampin’ Trimmer Cut Blackberry Bliss card at 5 1/2 x 2″ then score at 2 5/8ths + 2 7/8ths”
Use the tag topper punch on both ends.
Using the Big Shot die cut tag shape from Wood Crate Framelits in Whisper White and 2 heart in Black Berry Bliss and Whisper White. Cut Whisper White card in half and adhere as shown onto the Blackberry Bliss card. Finish with a pearl from Share What You Love Artisan pearls.
Stamp sentiment from Wood Words stamp set on tag using Blackberry Bliss.
I used Linen thread and Whisper White Tulle ribbon.
DSP strip is from Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the strip of washi below is Pick a Pattern Washi Tape.
I recommend using glue dots to secure your chocolate to the tag shape.
I was so excited to see the return of Blackberry Bliss in this year’s colour revamp but realised I hadn’t used it yet! I’m solving that problem today and also found out that it looks pretty smart indeed when paired with Garden Green.
I suppose you could say this card has an autumnal feel but my aim was to make something sophisticated. I seemed to be going through a bit of a subtle colour palette phase and had been neglecting all the other beautiful colours Stampin’ Up! has to offer!
Do you have ‘safe colours’ that you gravitate towards? Maybe you should brave it too and choose some new colours!
At first glance this sketch seemed pretty easy but when I started to think about my design I struggled for a while but luckily the creative juices started to flow when I chose my DSP for the left hand side of the card. Yes, I did use Blackberry Bliss….again! But I’ve tried to change up my usual style a little in the design.
Today I’d like to show you a card I made inspired by a few things. First of all I wanted to include the Pansy punch because it’s in this weeks weekly deals (yay!) and the sentiment ‘There’s always something to be thankful for’ seemed to resonate as we enter into Lent. The colour pallet was inspired by Hello Honey, also in the weekly deals.
The sentiment comes from the You brighten my day stamp set which you can order FREE for a limited time during Sale-a-Bration when you place a £45 order. The stamp which is part of a set of 9 is designed to co-ordinate with the Note tag punch but as I didn’t want the tag border I inked my stamp with a Stampin’ write marker.
I used the Flower Shop stamp set which co-ordinates with the Pansy punch for a quick, sophisticated effect.
