I was so excited to see the return of Blackberry Bliss in this year’s colour revamp but realised I hadn’t used it yet! I’m solving that problem today and also found out that it looks pretty smart indeed when paired with Garden Green.
I suppose you could say this card has an autumnal feel but my aim was to make something sophisticated. I seemed to be going through a bit of a subtle colour palette phase and had been neglecting all the other beautiful colours Stampin’ Up! has to offer!
Do you have ‘safe colours’ that you gravitate towards? Maybe you should brave it too and choose some new colours!
Father’s Day is only 11 days away so I guess this is a good time to give you some cards for men inspo! The card I’ve designed using Thoughtful Banners stamp set, can easily be adapted to suit many different occasions. It’s a great layout for smart and clean cards.
You won’t regret adding this stamp set to your crafty stash that’s for sure. We always need plenty of sentiments on hand.
Today’s project features the gorgeous classic colour Real Red and brand new in-color, Blueberry Bushel. I think they make a very nice combo, I’d love to know what you think.
The perfectly placed lines were possible thanks to the Stamparatus, the video below explains all 🙂
Don’t forget to add this month’s host code to get your share of the goodies next month.
A very warm welcome to my blog – Gather and Create. I’m excited to be part of the RemARKably Created Blog Hop and to be among such talented crafters! Our theme is ‘Flowers’ be sure to check out everyone’s beautiful projects – if you get lost at any point you can find the full list of bloggers a little further down.
I’m a big fan of the Wood Words stamp set, it has great images for so many projects and so many occasions. Pair it with the Wood Crate dies for a match made in heaven. For this project it was appropriate to let the flowers shine. I love how the flowers ‘pop’ when you add the watercolour pencils. It’s even better that it’s easy to do! Just add a little colour, blend with a blender pen and you’re done – simple 🙂
The Sweet Soiree embellishment kit is crammed with goodies and the velum flowers provided the perfect little something for this card.
