Embossing Folder Technique Christmas card with Crafters Companion products.
Hello!
I have a technique card to share with you today! If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should. There are two things that I particularly like about this technique:
- It’s easy!
- It gives you more ways to use your stash.

I love how delicate it is and it uses green’s but isn’t particularly traditional.
How to make it
Grab a white card base or make your own.
Cut white card at 9.5cmx13.9cm
Ink embossing folder on the blue side with Apple Green (see pic below) I deliberately missed a few spots because I like the look it creates.

Place your cut white card inside, try not to shift it! and run through die-cutting machine.
Grab the Lucky Clover ink and carefully dab onto the raised parts of the embossed card. If you have small ink cube you can do it direct to card, if not use a blending tool.
Take another piece of white card and die cut an oval shape. I used Stampin’ Up! Layering Ovals and Stitched shapes dies.
Stamp sentiment onto the oval in Apple Green the gently sponge with a blender using Lucky Clover. I LOVE my Tim Holtz Media Mat for blending!
Once you have all your pieces take some ribbon and tie around the embossed card. I add my bow with a separate piece of ribbon. The ribbon on this card is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White 5/8″ (1.6 Cm) Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Glue onto your card base.
Add stamped oval onto stitched oval using foam pads. Then add onto the card front with more foam pads.
Finish with some rhinestones and you’re done!
