Hinge Step Technique with the Stamparatus

It is a BEAUTIFUL weekend here in England – we have seen soaring temperatures and blue skies.

With a three day weekend my Monday morning started like this…

If only all Monday’s started so slowly!

Of course there is always time for some crafting and I used my favourite new tool, the Stamparatus. It’s a very clever stamp positioning tool that will not only help you with those annoying snags like missing a bit of your stamped image off, not having your stamping straight or wanting to make multiples quickly. It’s also great for some really cool techniques.

The Hinge Step that I’m sharing with you today is a pretty basic one but it gives a great result!

Straight, perfectly lined up repeated patterns give your cards a great, professional finish.

The products I used are a mixed bag of retiring, last chance products and some launching 1 June.

The retiring items are:

Tutti-Frutti Classic ink spots (I used Real Red and Lemon Lime Twist)

Tutti-Frutti DSP

These are available until 31 May or while stocks last

Available 1 June

Birthday Backgrounds Stamp set ( I used the candles stamp)

Pineapple Punch Blends, light. ( I used this to colour the ‘flame’ and finished them with Wink of Stella)

Card measurements

Lemon Lime twist Card -A4 cut in half on the short side at 10.5cm

Tutti-Frutti DSP – 10.5×14.9cm

Real Red card – 9.5×13.9xm

Whisper White – 9×13.4cm
