Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for February 2018.
This month our theme is Animals! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Esther Boulter – Gather and Create or you may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Stampin’ Up! has many cute animals to choose from but the This Little Piggy stamp set is a favourite of mine. The sentiment on the Piggy I chose seems to suit my current mood too! Girl Power in Piggy form 🙂
Those Piggies just put a smile on your face!
Method – Hints and tips
I cut a piece of the gorgeous new Springtime Foils Specialty paper at 10 x 14.4cm and coloured it with the light Pink Pirouette Blends pen. Did you know you can earn the Springtime foils for FREE??
The Piggy was stamped onto thick Whisper White card in Versamark and heat embossed in silver. Then coloured in with Stampin’ Blends – alcohol markers. Please be careful when colouring in an embossed image, the alcohol in the pens are not friends with the heat embossing so stay inside the lines!
Her wings were very lightly coloured with Pink Pirouette blends, then fill the wings with fine tip glue pen and add dazzling diamonds. Leave to dry (won’t take long) before die cutting your image using the circles framelits.
