As nothing is exactly as we would expect right now I thought, why not just play along with Christmas in July this year. And let’s face it, any excuse to play with the Card-io Winter Wander stamp set and some pretty glitter is fine by me.

Jumping on the bandwagon a little!
I don’t normally play along with Christmas in July but it does seem to be a ‘thing’ these days.

With Card-io stamps there really are no rules. I’m a member of their Facebook Group and I’m always amazed by a) the talent on there and b) how many different looks people get using the same stamp set.
Just grab some ink and have fun.
Remeber the rules. There are no rules!
I’m hoping that my project will give you some inspiration but would love it if you used it as a springboard for your own designs.
How to make it
5×5″ card base
Use low tack tape to aatach the bauble stencil to the front of the card base.
Rub wax paper of the card, over the stencil. Use a ball tool to dry emboss the bauble into the card base.
How to stamp the Card-io Winter Wander card
Versa Color Inks in Sage, Black, Canary, Cement and Cardinal Cut copier paper in mountain shape and use it to create little snowy hills by inking along it.
ALso ink around the edge of the bauble with Cement ink.Add a little Canary ink to the top With a very light touch, add Cardinal ink over the Canary ink.
Stamp the girl in black ink.Stamp the brances and repeatedly as shown without re-inking until you get to the next section.
stamp the sheep. All ink black ink.Stamp the berry branches in Cardinal Ink. Stamp the berry branches in Sage ink. I also added a litle deer @
That’s all the stamping done, it’s time to bring on the glitter!

I like to use a quickie glue pen. They’re great when you want to cover small areas with glitter.
I added glue to the roof tops, a little on the branches, the bauble hanger and around the outside of the bauble.
QUICK TIP!
Tidy Trays are great for catching glitter and a lint roller will clean up any messes that missed the tray!
Shop for Versa Color inks.
I buy mine from Create and Craft. They have the full range of beautiful colours.
