Welcome to the RemARKably Creative – Easter -blog tour!
I am so excited to be taking part in this blog hop – Easter is one of my favourite times of the year. From the party atmosphere in church to the spring flowers that fill my home and garden. I thrive on a change of scenery and routine and Easter is all about new creation.
Daffodil Delight seemed like the perfect colour for this card and Basic Gray gives it a more up to date, contemporary twist.
The main sentiments are from the Happy Wishes stamp set which you can earn FOR FREE during Sale-a-Bration, it’s yours in clear or wood mount when you spend £90 in my online store.
Thank you so much for stopping by, the next blog is Celebrate the Journey. Be sure to check out the rest of the tour and everyone’s beautiful creations. https://youtu.be/ipRszcXId4s
Daffodil Delight card base
Whisper White 10 x 14.4cm x 2 (one for the insert)
The Let the good times roll Bundle was love at first sight for me! My family adore theme parks and roller coasters and although I’m usually the one waiting with the bags (I’m not very brave!) theme parks hold great memories for me.
The bundle is the most economic way to buy this set, saving you 10%.
Don’t forget to choose your FREE Sale-a-Bration GIFT when you spend £45 or more and use the Hostess code or additional rewards!
The pop up effect is so fun! I have made a quick video to explain the assembly as I was a bit confused the first time I tried to make it!
I just couldn’t resist sharing one more project with you all! I made a few table favours for Christmas Day, just in case we all needed some more chocolate! Christmas Day and Easter Sunday are the two days of the year that my children are allowed chocolate for breakfast but it is possible that my teenagers does so more than twice a year!
I used some retiring favourites of mine, they’ll be gone by 3 January so grab them while you can.
They were super quick to make and only a few M&M’s fell into my mouth 🙂
Be sure to check out the Hug in a Mug stamp set, I think it’s a great one for all year round. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate have a place any day! I’m sure you’ll find lots of uses for the Treat Tubes too.
All the goodies you’ll need to make your own table favours are below, be sure to use the rewards code for extra treats from me.
We are only 3 sleeps away from Christmas Day and I think I’m ready for Christmas, are you? My Husband will buy the last few groceries tomorrow (love him!) and then it’s time to relax with the family and enjoy the celebrations.
I thought I’d share this card with you to kick off the fun!
Thanks to Anna Smith for the inspiration.
It’s a bit more ‘fancy’ than I would normally make for Christmas but this was for my kids to give their Grandparents so I wanted it to be extra special and that little sausage dog is TOO irresistible!
Grab the bundle now with 10% off, price will increase to £59 on 3rd January 2018!
Everything I used is listed below, just click the image to take a closer look at the item. As always, I’m happy to help with any questions!
I have a piece of home decor for you all today! The Hearts Come Home bundle is SO versatile for many crafting projects and I just had to make a cute little picture with it.
There’s even a die to make tags, you can see it top right on the image above. You can use the houses individually, cut them up or make an entire village!
I used an Ikea Tysslinge picture frame and it’s quite teeny! 8x9cm to be exact. As you can see I took just one house and tree, cut it 3 times in Real Red, Whisper White and Dapper Denim and paper pieced it to create a multi coloured image. Some Daffodil Delight was glued to the back to create a ‘glow’ in the windows. The tree was cut from Emerald Envy and Early Espresso with a Daffodil Delight star to top it off. The photo doesn’t show it well but I added some sparkle using Wink of Stella.
I’m back from another amazing Onstage, Stampin’ Ups! twice yearly conference. Fun, friendship, inspiration, and playing with NEW goodies can always be guaranteed and I absolutely LOVE being a demonstrator.
I can’t show you new stuff yet but I would love to share the team gift I made and all the awesome gifts I got in return. Feeling very blessed indeed by all the care and thought my friends put into their crafty gifts.
Much excitement as we wait for the event to start!
With my lovely team leader, Fiona. Photobombed by the equally lovely Carol and Maggie!
The gifts and swaps I received
And this is the gift I made. I got plastic baubles from Amazon and also put some sweets and other gifts inside the bauble. The reverse of the image has gold foil embossed with softly falling embossing folder.
I’ll start with a little confession. I used A LOT of supplies on this project!
When you make your Mum a card you want to make sure it’s special and I got carried away with sparkle and pretty things. Usually I like to demonstrate how much you can do with very little Stampin’ Up! supplies (because it’s true) but we all get a little carried away at times 🙂
The main focus of the card is the beautiful dragonfly. Island Indigo and Tranquil Tide remind me of the jewel like colours that dragonflies have so they were the perfect choice.
I’m bidding a fond farewell to one of my favourite stamp sets, Happy Home, with today’s project. It’s retiring at the end of the month but it’s still available in my online store both as a stamp set on it’s own or as a bundle price with the Hearth and Home framelits. You’ll save 15% on the total price if you purchase the bundle.
I made a birthday card for a male friend, you could easily make it more feminine by adding some ribbon or flowers.
The banner shape is a sneak peek 🙂 it’s coming very soon! The new catalogue launches 1 June and I’ll be adding the link on here but if you’d like me to send you a paper copy just let me know and I’ll mail one out to you.
