Ok guys, this is the last Christmas card I’m sharing this year! It’s actually the card I made for my parents but the photo kinda gives that away!
I used the Tonic Studios wreath & skates festive die set for everything but the sentiment. The sentiment for this card was cut on a Cricut Maker.
It’s the first time I’ve used Xcut adhesive sheets but it worker SO well! I just cut my sentiment out and stuck it on the card. I.LOVE.SIMPLE.
Method and supplies for background
I used a Card-io Round Bauble stencil on my 8×8 card base. Simply grab some wax paper and ball tool and trace around the stencil.
To highlight the bauble, apply Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled glass using a blending tool.
Method for wreath
Die cut matt layer from dark green card.
Die cut wreath from light green and red card.
Snip away the bow on the green piece an glue red bow to the wreath. Glue to dark green layer and ink edges with Lucky Clover.
Method for Skates
Die Cut skates from Silver Mirri , white, green and red card. Snip the blades off the white skates and glue to silver mirri skates.
Snip away the green elements.
Paper piece the red laces, ribbon tie and hearts into the white and silver skates.
Trim the bell shape from the wreath.
Add skates to wreath and finish with gems and a linen thread bow.
