Warning, this post may contain the cutest dragon you’ll ever see! Thank you Lee Holland for designing beautiful Dragon Stamps 🙂

HUGE thanks to the super talented Lee Holland for lending his amazing illustrator talents to a fabulous range of stamps for Crafter’s Companion.
Everything you need to make your own Lee Holland Dragon Stamps card is listed below
Not only are the designs awesome but the stamps are made from photopolymer which is the highest quality material you can get for stamp making. I just had to make a Lee Holland Dragon Card.

I coloured mine Using Nuvo Watercolour Pencils By Tonic Studios. The range of colours is outstanding.

This project was really about playing with colour. I took my time and really enjoyed the process of creating the background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and then the colouring in of the image.
Dinner was rather late because I was so engrossed with my project! I don’t know where the time goes once I’m at my craft desk.
My background and image are both on watercolour card stock. (I’ll give the dimensions in a mo)

Take each ink pad in turn and add ink to your media mat (or any other glass mat) Spritz with water and push your card into it. Dry it with a heat tool, you can continue to spritz and dab with kitchen towel for a really cool effect. Have fun! Repeat with the other colours and the beauty of Distress Oxide inks is the colours will layer without becoming muddy.
Watercolour card is textured so I suggest that you use a stamping platform to stamp your image. This will allow you to go back over the image if you miss a bit. I recommend Stazon ink if you’re watercolouring.
Use the same method for stamping your sentiment.
The adorable little flowers are Finishing Touches by Creative Expressions and finished with Nuvo Crystal drops in Caribbean Ocean

Go over the black outline of your stamped image AFTER you have coloured it with a black fine-liner pen to achieve crisp lines.

A brush like this makes for fuss free water-colouring.
