Pretty die-cut card with HOTP dies and Cricut

Hello!

How are you doing? Summer is finally back here in the UK and I’ve made a summery card to celebrate!

Today’s Card uses The Hot Off The Press – Wreath for all Seasons set of dies. So, although I’ve made a super summery project, you can also make gorgeous Christmas card with this die set too. Love that.

Want to know another cool thing? I used SCRAPS to make this card! The only full piece of A4 card I used was to make the card base.

The card base is 5×5 by the way.

For the rest of the pieces from the HOTP set, you can just raid your scraps box and grab your favourite die-cutting machine. I use Gemini Die-Cutting and embossing machine. I was able to cut several flowers at once with it and the plates had room for the other elements too.

I knew I wanted to have the work ‘bloom’ in the sentiment but I don’t have a die with that so my trusty Cricut Maker came to the rescue.

You can use any Current Cricut Machine and the cut file is FREE if you are subscribed to Cricut Design Space.

You’ll notice from my card that you can get lots of different looks from the flowers depending how you layer them. It’s also fun to curl the card to give a little more dimension and texture to your project.

The three small flowers in the middle have been popped up on foam pads, everything else has been glued. The butterflies were only glued down the middle, this allows for the wings to be popped up. Cute!

In my opinion, bling is required on almost all cards and this card was no exception!

Let me know what you think of the card in the comments below and if you have any questions I’m happy to help.

Thanks for stopping by, stay safe.

Love,

Esther XX
