Just the addition of a new ink colour or cute card is enough to get my creative juices flowing again.
Thanks to Tim Holtz distress Oxide in Kitsch Flamingo haa definitely done that for me!
Here’s how to grab the file that I used for today’s project.
From Your Canvas in Cricut Design Space type New Home in the search bar. (Check out all those categories 🙂 )
Discovering a cool effect.
The background was created by blending Kitsch Flamingo onto white card. I spritzed it and dried it with a heat tool.
Then the magic happened!
After stamping my Hippos and balloons I coloured them in and I love how the pink from the KF mixed with the grey of my TriBlend Brush Marker. It created such a cool greyish/pinkish effect! Don’t you just love ink?
Below are all the colours I used on this card.
Colour the balloons in and add a little glossy accents to the left edges.
Stamp and colour the birds in and fussy cut out, then add to the project with 3D foam pads.
