Hello!

I recently got my hands on my first Papercraft Society box and boy did I fall in love!

Obviously, I had to share all the good stuff inside so I did an unboxing video that you can catch below.

I promised to play with the kit and share the results and that’s exactly what I’m doing today.

As there is so much in the box I won’t go through the contents now, it’s so much better to see them all in the video anyway.

You’ll see that I really loved the contents but what surprised me was the quality once I used the products.

The ink works well, the dies cut beautifully and the stamps are intricate and stamp well. The papers are all top-notch too.

In addition to all that it’s a super versatile kit. These will be stamps and dies that you’ll reach for time and time again. Absolutely ideal if you’re just starting out on your papercraft journey.

Perhaps you’re heading to a holiday home soon but want to craft while you’re there. This will be an ideal craft kit to take along. You may want to take a smaller die cutting machine or do the cutting before you set off.

I’m not a person that travels light but you might be more sensible!

The kit comes with a fabulous booklet crammed with ideas from Katie Skilton so these are just an added bonus. My ideas are also fairly simple and I designed them to give as a gift.

Why not tie the notecards and envelopes with a pretty ribbon and use the Papercraft Society box to wrap them in with some extra goodies?

You make me smile card

Use the teal ink pad to stamp the border stamp top and bottom of the card. You’ll need to mask off the other half of the card so that it only stamps on the front.

Stamp the sentiment.

Cut the smile die from yellow card and patterned paper (both in the kit) and glue them together with a slight offset. Glue to the front of the card.

Butterfly card.

Hello Card

Cut chevron paper to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4″ and place the stitched square die in the middle. Tape it down with some low tack tape and die cut. Keep the ‘waste’ from the chevron paper, we’ll be using that later 🙂

Cut the square from teal card

Cut the Butterfly from yellow hearts patterned paper.

Stamp ‘hello’ using teal ink into scrap white stamping card and heat emboss with the included clear heat embossing powder. Cut the sentiment out as shown.

Glue the chevron paper to the front of the card. Add the teal square with 3d foam pads. Add glue to the centre of the butterfly and place in the middle of the square.

Glue the sentiment on.

Enjoy the beautiful moments card

Use white stamping card to stamp the floral wreath and die cut using the coordinating die.

Colour in using Watercolour pencils and a fairly dry waterbrush.

Glue to the front of the card and stamp the sentiment.

Wedding card. Anniversary card. Valentine's card.

I love you card

Stamp the small hearts twice in the centre of the card using black ink.

Stamp the bigger heart three times in teal ink.

On scrap white card, stamp I love you in black ink. Trim the sentiment down.

Grab the square ‘waste’ from the chevron patterned paper and glue in the centre of the card.

Add the sentiment with 3D foam pads.
